We have recently been called to another house with noises in the loft and a bad “Smell” 
On Matts initial inspection he very diligently noticed joints in the laminate flooring & being the inquisitive Rat detective 
he carefully checked them out to reveal hatches leading to a sub floor below. (The client wasn’t aware of these!)
On checking beneath, he found a dead rat 
and possible evidence of rats exiting from a faulty drain 
system. We will continue to assess and monitor the situation whilst our specialist drain team will carry out a detailed check 
of the drain system.
