What happens when you contact us
1. Tell us what you need
Tell us what you’ve noticed at your home or site, or what ongoing pest management you’re looking for.
2. Talk through the options
We’ll discuss the problem and let you know whether we can price the work by phone or need to inspect first.
3. Arrange the visit
We’ll arrange a suitable time and explain anything you need to do beforehand.
4. Receive our findings and recommendations
For one off work, after the visit you’ll receive a digital report with our findings, recommendations and
details of any further visits.
For planned commercial pest management, we’ll carry out a site survey and provide a quotation for
the proposed service. Once the service begins, every visit produces a digital report. Planned contracts
also receive site records or a pest management folder unless the client asks otherwise.

- We keep you informed. We arrange visits clearly and let you know if plans change.

- Commercial customers can speak directly to people who know their site and its pest management programme.

Common Questions
How Can I Pay?
We accept cash, card payments, bank transfer and cheques.
All of our technicians carry mobile card machines for ease of payment. Payment is normally required on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Will My Visit Be Confidential?
Yes. We understand that many customers may feel embarrassed or worried about pest issues. Our vehicles are professionally presented, and our technicians act in a discreet, respectful and professional manner at all times.
Will You Return If Needed?
Yes. Depending on the pest issue, some treatments may require follow up visits. Your technician will explain this clearly to you during the appointment. Many common pest problems such as rats, mice, wasps and bed bugs may require more than one visit to achieve full control.
Why Can I Trust Guardian Pest Control?
Guardian Pest Control has been trusted by thousands of customers throughout Somerset and Devon for over three decades. Our reputation is extremely important to us, which is reflected in the large number of genuine 5-star customer reviews we receive. We are proud members of the National Pest Technicians Association and work to their professional Codes of Best Practice.
We are also accredited by TrustMark.
TrustMark is the UK Government Endorsed Quality Scheme covering work carried out in and around the home. When customers choose a TrustMark Registered Business, they are choosing a company that has been independently vetted and committed to high standards of workmanship, technical competence and customer service.
Do You Offer Advice To Help Prevent Pests Returning?
Yes. Part of professional pest control is identifying why the issue has occurred in the first place. This will be included in a digital report we produce for each treatment along with any chemicals and precautions you may need to take.
Where possible, our technicians will provide practical advice on proofing, hygiene, housekeeping or maintenance issues which may help reduce the risk of future pest activity.
Do I Need To Leave The Property During Treatment?
This depends on the type of pest and treatment being carried out. In most cases you can remain in the property, however your technician will always explain any safety requirements clearly before treatment begins.
